July 5, 1920 (Game 30)

Baltimore 8 - Providence 5
John Kleber went 5-for-6, including 2 doubles and a home run (3), helping the Canaries snap their 4-game losing streak, and giving starter Harry Wright his first win of the season (1-5).  Wentzell (3) and Capucci (3) homered for the Commodores.

Newark 9 - Philadelphia 3

The Eagles knocked Philly starter Peter Murphy (1-3) out of the game early and allowed CV Matteson (5-1) to coast to victory.  McKechnie (5), Zerbe (5), and O'Brien (2) all homered in the offensive showcase.

Pittsburgh 1 - Washington 0

A crucial 1st inning stolen base by All-Star Ben Taylor allowed him to score on a Jerry Freeman double, the only run allowed by either club for the day, despite multiple opportunities.  Red Fisher (2-2) pitched a complete game shutting, allowing four hits and two walks.  Taylor's stolen base to lead off the game was his first successful attempt out of five this season.
