Baltimore 3 - Washington 2
In Washington, Canaries hitters used small ball and a Robert Shipley home run (5) to give Harry Wight his 2nd win of the season (2-5).  Fulmer (2) homered for the Statesmen lone run.

Boston 3 - Newark 1
Socks Seybold (3-2) allowed one run on four hits, and Ernie Johnson (10)  hit 2 home runs to allow Boston to top the Eagles.

New York 2 - Providence 1
John Klopf (8) hit his third home run in two games, generating all the runs for the Knights to triumph.  Thomas Weitlich (6-2) pitched into the 9th inning, striking out six.  Lou Rinaldi closed the 9th inning out for his sixth save of the season.

Pittsburgh 3 - Philadelphia 0
Ben Taylor (8) hit a 2-run homer in the top of the 8th and Charlie Malay (3) added a solo shot in the 9th for all the offense in this game in Philadelphia.
