Lee Dasher (6) and Hornets starter Jack Lewis (3) each homered, providing all the runs to ensure Lewis earned his 6th victory of the season (6-0).  

Washington 2 - Philadelphia 0
Jim Green (7) and starter Alex Voss (1) each homered, scoring all the runs in the game. 

Newark 3 - Providence 1 
Paul Zerbe scored 2 runs as Newark won the 3-game series from the Commodores
