Charlie Manlove (4-1) continuted his dominance with a complete game shutout for his 4th win of the season. Philadelphia combined for 10 hits, including Jack Leary home run (2) to beat the Eagles.
Pittsburgh 7 - Washington 2
Jack Lewis gave up two runs on five hits, striking out seven, to maintain his league-leading tie with five wins of the seasons, as the Hornets demolished the Statesmen. Pittsburgh 2B Ben Taylor lead the charge going 2-for-4, with triple, a home run (5), and 3 RBIs.
Boston 6 - New York 3
Lew Brown broke an 0-16 hitting slump going back to game 3 with a grand slam (1), leading the Clippers over the Knights.
