Baltimore 9 -  Boston 4
Harry Sinclair batted 4-for-4, and Ed Renau drove in 5 rbis, including a grand slam, as the Canaries
mauled the Clippers.  

New York 3 - Washington 0
Pat Witmer (4) hit 2 home runs as the Knight blanked the Statesmen.   Christopher Henne (2-1) struck out five in his first shutout of the season.   John Gabriel (3) also homered for New York.

Newark 3 - Pittsburgh 2
It took a Tom O'Brien single in the bottom of the 14th to drive in the winning run.  Bill McKechnie hit a RBI triple to tie the game in the 7th, and the Hornets could not regain the lead, not only forcing extra innings, but snapping Jack Lewis' streak of consecutive complete games at four.  Lewis did pitch the first nine of 14 innings, as well as both team's run, with a 2-run home run (2) in the 5th. 

Providence 1 - Philadelphia 0
Denis Lamontagne (1-3) pitched a shutout for his first win of the season, as the Commodores edged the Yellowjackets.
