May 7, 1920 (Game 11)

Philadelphia 2 - Baltimore 0
In a pitching exhibition, both starters threw no-hitters deep into the game. Yellowjacket 1B Joe Quinn's triple was the catalyst for both runs scored in the 7th inning. Jim Brown pitched a two-hit shutout to earn his first victory of the season, while Dick McBride only allowed five hits in defeat.

Pittsburgh 5 - Providence 4
Ben Taylor's 10th inning triple scored Sam Fletcher and extended the Hornets winning streak to 6. The teams traded leads, especially from Pittsburgh's four home runs (Taylor, Lee Dasher, and two by OF Bert Blue.) Ed Porray pitched three perfect innings in relief for the win.

Newark 3 - New York 0
Charlie Hodnett allowed only five hits in a complete game shut out of the Knights.  Pat Scanlon and Eddie Rauch each homered for the Eagles.  New York has lost back-to-back games for the first time all season, and drop from 1st place in the standings.

Boston 3 - Washington 2

The Statesmen's descent to the Federal League continue with their sixth straight loss, an impotent showing against the clippers. Jim Halpin and Al Bradley hit home runs for Washington, but they were only hits Ed McDonough allowed in his complete game victory. McDonough had not allowed a run/earned run in 16 straight innings. John Irwin and Clarence Dow, recent additions to the Clipper line-up, hit home runs for Boston's win.
