 Newark 2 - Baltimore 1 
John Cattanach (3-3) allowed one run on four hits, as well as hitting the game winning home run (1) in the 8th inning to halt the Eagles losing streak at three games.  Bill McKechnie (6) also homered for Newark, while Louie Kramer (5) homered for the Canaries.

Washington 4 - Providence 3
Statesmen bats and Commodore errors allowed Washington to snap their three game losing streak.  

Philadelphia 2 - Boston 1
Smart at-bats and base running, couple with a Joe Quin solo shot (3) was enough to put the Yellowjackets over the Clippers.  Philadelphia starter Charlie Manlove (5-2) struck out six in throwing his fith complete game of the season.

Pittsburgh 3 - New York 2
A Jerry Freeman bloop single was all that was needed to give Pittsburgh the lead and ensure starter Jack Lewis advanced to 7-0 in eight starts.
