New York 12 - Washington 3
Pat Witmer hit two home runs (6,7) and a triple for 11 total bases and 8 RBIs as the Knights pummeled the the Statesmen.
Newark 4 - Pittsburgh 3
Art Sladen threw out Joe Delahanty stealing third to stop a 9th inning rally. Jerry Freeman homered for the Hornets (4). Charlie Hodnett (6-2) pitched seven innings for the win, and Jack Brennan earned his league-leading 12th save.
Philadelphia 8 - Providence 2
Milt Whitehead batted 4-for-5 and Fred Lewis hit a three-run homer (4) as the Yellowjackets bullied the Commodores. Lutcher (9) and Trevitz (2) homered for Providence.
- With New York's 12-3 win over Washington (game 47), the Knights set the record for most runs scored in a game. They beat the previous record of 11 runs, scored by the Knights in an 11-6 opening day win over Providence.
- Christopher Henne's return to the line-up was met with great fanfare among with teammates, however out of the five errors attributed to the Knights pitching staff, Henne has committed four of them.
