July 2, 1920 (Game 29)

Providence 3 -  Baltimore 0
Commodore utility infielder Jeffrey Gray first hit, a two-run homer in the 2nd inning, was all they needed, as Mark Shingle spread out five hits in a complete game shutout. Providence has shut out the Canaries in the first two games in this series. Baltimore has not scored a run in 25 innings.

Philadelphia 4 - Newark 2

George Daisy hit a 2-run triple and Milt Whitehead homered (4) allowing the Yellowjackets to win.  Jerry Moore (2-1) was credited with the win and Charlie Dougherty tied the league lead with his sixth save.  Newark player-manager Tim Murnane snapped his 18-game on-base streak, tying the longest streak of the season.

Washington 8 - Pittsburgh 1

Hornet pitchers were not prepared for the Statesmen line-up, giving up 11 hits and 3 home runs.  The Pittsburgh fielders were neither prepared as well, committing four errors on routine plays that extended innings for Washington.  Bill Wise moved up to 2-3 with the win, and has only allowed eight walks in six starts.  Washington earns their 10th win of the season, while giving Pittsburgh their 10th loss.

New York 5 - Boston 4

Steven Hines hit two of the Knights four home runs as New York defeated Boston
