May 16, 1920 (Game 14)

Baltimore 4 - Pittsburgh 2
The Canaries benefitted from three errors by the Hornets to tie the game, and a Lip Pike double to win the game during the top of the 9th inning, snapping the Hornets 8-game winning streak.  Pittsburgh hurler Mike Menosky (1-1) pitched a complete game before the infield, the outfield, and his own fielding failed him.  Zach Phelps (1-0) was credited with the win, and Hal McKnight earned his fourth save of the season.

Philadelphia 7 - New York 5

Knight starting pitching and fielding was worse than the Yellowjackets, and that decided the outcome. Philly starter Jerry Moore barely made it out of the 5th inning to qualify for the win (1-0) Tom Ryder hit his first home run of the season for Philadelphia, while Paul Ackourey's three- run shot kept the Yellowjackets honest.

Providence 3 - Boston 1

Providence halted their five-game losing streak with three runs in the first inning, and Mark Shingle pitched a complete game three-hitter to win. Ernie Johnson and Dobie Lutcher each homered.

Newark 5 - Washington 1

Tim O'Brien and Eddie Rach each hit home runs to help John Cattanach (1-1) earn his first win of the season. John Deasely hit a home run for the only run for Washington. Starting pitcher John Wise for Washington falls to 0-3, despite touting a 2.05 ERA and only issuing four walks.
